Anybody can enjoy a body pillow in bed. But they’re especially good for those who desire more support and comfort than a mattress and regular pillow alone provide. In particular, if you snore, are a side-sleeper, are pregnant, need extra support for your joints, or fall asleep faster with something to hug, a body pillow can be a great bedding upgrade. Because each body is different, we considered body pillows in a range of shapes, sizes, and firmness levels. After eight hours of research (including interviews with a sleep doctor and a spinal surgeon) and convening a panel of 10 testers (who cuddled up with nine body pillows), we have five to recommend.
